A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

Last night I got home from a 15 hour day and my cat screamed at me until I picked her up and held her. Then she went limp in my arms and started purring and drooling a little. Today she fell asleep on my chest twice.
Great feeling.

Update: Moron is a lovely Ethiopian woman who 1) recommended me a new Ethiopian restaurant, 2) taught me that you can get excess salt out of broth with a potato, and 3) chased me down to give me back the travel mug I left in her car. Top notch experience
