Today in dog bullshit, Pen was chewing on a stick while I was talking to a neighbor and managed to get a chunk wedged between her teeth across her palate. Cue gross panic as she coughed and hacked and pawed at her face, making me think she was choking.

Hm. Virginia has a "don't let the kiddies use social media too much" law that's now in affect and I wonder how that's going to fuck me over with forcing age identification. "use a neutral age screen mechanism or other means to determine whether a user is younger than 16." WTF does that even mean.

Not sure what to do with myself today, so sitting watching birds and reading which I guess is fine. Lots of feeder traffic this morning: two kinds of sparrows, three kinds of finches, woodpeckers, chickadees, nuthatch, cardinals. Haven't seen any juncos or titmice though.
