the thing is, in america the general belief is that if you're rich it's because god is rewarding you for your good choices - and when your wealth is a god-given prize, it's very easy to think that god would not want you to share.

Twitter has this Shaka-when-the-walls-fell thing going on where both normal people and lead-poisoned peepaws both agree there’s a bot issue, but the former use “bot” to mean the accounts that respond “hello dear do u like my sexy” to everyone and the latter use it to mean “people who are rude to me”
