Omg, I accidentally used a feature on an app today that I didn't realize was AI powered and then it revealed it was and I feel SO SICK to my stomach as I just DO NOT use AI for ANYTHING.

Also... it just sucked? And didn't do at all the simple thing I thought it would do? Lol. Trash tool.

Below are some really, really great fantasy novels for kids that are not HP books.

They exist, I promise. (Not pictured due to their already big popularity levels, but are also great options: Percy Jackson books and the Wings of Fire Books.)

Just in case you need holiday shopping ideas.
Other middle grade fantasy recs!

This is mostly from my collection. My 10yo has read a few as he begins to explore novels, but here we veer into my recommendations more. Many of these are indeed series if you have a fantasy loving MG reader!

Me: I have a book idea that might actually be commercial!
Agent: That's great!
Me: The title is a reference to a classic 1971 Sesame Street Golden Book.
Agent: There it is.

Hey, if you can’t boycott Amazon and still need items, don’t forget it’s the time of year where you can search “tip my driver” after a delivery and hit a button that makes Amazon pay them a little extra.

My holiday decorating hack for homes like ours that are lacking for surface area to put out knick knacks: WALL AND WINDOW CLINGS! They are super cute. Low price. You can stick them practically anywhere. And if you peel and place them on wax paper, you can save them for another year!

Vet prescribed some fancy allergy-friendly type of food for my cat because he's a vomit-y guy and always has been, so we're trying to sleuth it out.

Good news: He hasn't puked since starting the new food!
Bad news: Instead now he's started having diarrhea.

Thiiiinking this is maybe a no-go.......

After cyber Monday, it's untangle Tuesday, where we're meant to spend a few hours untangling cords. Then comes will-o'-the-wisp Wednesday, where floating lights will lead us to sale items. Thrall Thursday is when we all follow the orders of the Bone Lord and help with construction of the Bone Tower.

Did you know: A sloth bear can fully close its nostrils when sniffing around ant hills and termite mounds. This helps make sure the bear doesn't suck up dirt or get insects crawling up its nose!

A reminder that picture books make a fabulous gift for the young people in your life!

Picture books may not make noise or have lights but kids hold onto them.

I have a bunch of fun ones out and so do many other #kidlit creators! Bonus points for buying from an indie.❤️📚🎁
