Another reason I couldn't have written ME2 is that every time Shepard met someone From Before, I would have them say "Are you serious?" so that Shepard could reply "No, I'm Cerberus.", and then I would have been dumped on the side of the Yellowhead with no snowboots.
Me: I should try to find my hotel via the Path.
Me: Babe, you are usually not successful at finding the Path.

Me: I could design an EmmRook fanfic drinking game.
Me: Do you have anything besides "slow, deep" and "mentions the horse"?
Me: I'VE BEEN THINKING FOR LIKE THREE SECONDS obviously something about flowers

Star Wars Outlaws: Low Red Moon is out today! Here are a few inspirations and influences, both real-world and in-universe, to give you some of its vibe.

Note that LRM stands alone as an underworld/ISB tale but players will love the audiobook by Jay Rincon (ND-5)/Eric Johnson (Jaylen)!

So Canada blocks new agencies on most platforms because Meta refuses to pay for clicks. It's weird, but it's actually an important stand to take. Carney's solution is the one I usually go with: a screencap showing the source.
We’re working with international partners to create new high-paying careers, build up our domestic auto sector, and boost productivity in Canada.

I am going to need my winter coat for like 90 minutes over the next 2 weeks, and I will have to carry it around when I'm not wearing it, so now my least favourite Canadian travel game begins.

This is something I forget about over here, and worth remembering especially when dirtbags are picking this week of all weeks to soft launch their comeback.
Worth noting that blocking someone you follow doesn't remove you from their follow list, so it's possible a chunk of those people don't realise they show up as still following him.

The thing I've always found confusing about Groundhog's Day is that six weeks after February 2nd *is* an early spring.

Today for the first time Dad said "I wish I'd done that" instead of "I always wanted to do that", and, pocket friends, it sucks.

I love it when I return to a fic to reread it and there's art that wasn't there before. Fandom makes me happy.

YA + Romancelandia is a *force*.
Just realized that we have shipped almost 300,000 whistles across the country because of a show where Jane Grey's husband turns into a horse.

Without the Tudor Horse Man show I would not be BFFs with @moryan.bsky.social & she wouldn't have sent me to @lefttheprairie.bsky.social & yet here we are.
a man riding on the back of a horse in front of a fire with the words still running on the bottom left
Alt: Jane Grey flying through the air over flames and landing on the back of a horse. Who is also her husband.

One thing that’s really underreported on is the amount of mutual aid support the Twin Cities are receiving from around the country.

A third/fourth of folks I know doing weekly food support for vulnerable families are getting it at least partially financed by someone out of state who wants to help.

Two before OWEN, one canceled IP, one unwritten Book 3.
Hey authors -- I'm curious. For various reasons, we usually only see the highlight reals on social media, but how many novels have you trunked over your career? Especially post first published book?

There is no evidence of drawing down or deescalation on the part of the federal occupying army. The oppressive pressure of the nearness of evil makes casualness of any kind impossible. 6/7

I might be able to leave my gloves in the car when I walk into the grocery store, but I sure as hell have a whistle on me. Every notification buzz might be another murder or kidnapping or outrageous lie from the administration. The exhausting hypervigilance remains necessary. 7/7

My heart yearns for metaphor.
I talk about politics and the economy and sociology because I write about politics and the economy and sociology. I am a fantasy novelist. Come on.

I just booked my first school visit since the pandemic. It's a bit different in Canada, but there are *several* school boards whose screenings I no longer pass.
One.

I have one school visit scheduled for the 2025-26 school year.

Before the book banning movement and the politics of hate metastasized, I visited 40, 50, and 60 schools each year.

This regime of monstrous evildoers is actively trying to erase LGBTQ+ stories, identities, and humans.

You mean like the UBI for artists that Ireland tried (to great success)?
Congratulations again to the team behind Heated Rivalry. Your success is a powerful reminder of why it matters to invest in Canadian content and stories.

We rode past the site of his murder and then on to the block where ICE killed Renee Good. It took mere minutes riding very slowly.

My friend and I then swung off to head home, and our route took us through George Floyd Square.

It’s all so close. I knew this, but I really felt it today.

Thousands upon thousands of cyclists gathered today to honor Alex Pretti and to demand ICE leave our state. In decades of cycling, I’ve never been in a bigger group of riders. I couldn’t see the head or the tail of the group.
