20 of my books were stolen and I get zero. The US is the only country that expects us to pay for registration to be included in possible future litigation. It's a huge money making scheme. I accidentally attached the wrong pdf to a submission, they rejected it said I'd have to pay $350 to appeal. 🤯

Every time I get a new email about the Anthropic class action settlement I just want to fucking cry because it's a reminder that I (and a ton of other writers) have been excluded from even having this tiny crumb of justice because our publishers didn't take the extra step of registering copyright.

Hideous licensing agreement from Red Ogre Review, but what really jumps out at me is the moral rights waiver
Red Ogre (@ogre.red) gets rights to your work upon *submission*.

And those rights are ridiculous. They can change your work, not credit you, use your work for advertising, or put it in an anthology.

Don't submit to this one, folks.

One of the wickedest things Wes Streeting has ever done is push politically convenient falsehoods about suicide rates amongst young trans people. We have new data from the National Child Mortality Database that exposes the truth he tried to cover up.

The commonsense reform to concentration camps is not having them.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

Saw Iron Lung. I enjoyed it! Definitely wasn't what I expected; it took a real swing at being more cosmic horror. For what is quite literally a bottle movie, Mark made really effective use of the single set and did an overall solid job.
