I'm excited to share the announcement for my next picture book: SNOW DAY WITH DADDY will be published Winter 2028 from Christy Ottaviano Books / @littlebrownyr.bsky.social Inspired by my dad and snowy winters growing up in New England. A big thank you to my agent @mccarthylit.com ❄️ #kidlit

Publication is planned for winter 2028; Sean McCarthy at Sean McCarthy Literary Agency brokered the deal for world rights.

I've always wanted to do Hourly Comics Day - but until this year, it fell on my son's birthday. It's messy and imperfect, but I'm so glad I didn't overthink and I just committed to it. #hourlycomics #hcd #hourlycomicsday 1/2

I've been doing #WRAD for 8 years. The first few years were a little bumpy, sorting out the best way to schedule and organize. I just got a super organized email with meeting info from a school - love to see it! #kidlit /1

i know that this is an unpopular take, but everyone starting their own newsletter as a revenue stream is not a sustainable model for writing and reporting or for people who love and want to pay for media.

A lot of people cannot just start a paid newsletter or become freelancers to sustain their careers. The sports, metro, and international desks did work that requires *team* resources, like legal checks, documents, access to archives, and long-term beat experience.
