Good news - they sent a replacement unit and this one works!
Also glad to know almost all my pots and pans are induction friendly too (except the one nonstick pan).

Aw... my husband got me an induction cooktop for Xmas, but I *think* the unit is faulty?
I really was hoping it'd work well and he'd be happy he got me a good gift, but alas... fate be fate.

I’m going to try to not get depressed, have a big breakdown or abruptly quit everything in 2026.
