With no funding we have blocked an array of shitty, dangerous bills and helped get some good ones passed, too. We've sent creators to school board meetings, legislative houses, and courts.

With money we can supercharge our efforts, and make them more accessible to more members. We can FIGHT.

Oh, it is magnificent! I give it an A+ in all categories up and down the list. As people who make stories for this age range, I think we are pretty good judges. ;)

Thing is, you don't have to personally like KPop Demon Hunters. But that knee jerk need to deride it? Scoff at it? That stems from societal training that anything for preteen girls is bad by default and should be mocked because girls are worthless and need to be put in their place.

I'm just tired of a world where the only people kids can turn to for help as adults try to assault them are other children. We were 13. We did our best. Few adults helped, and those who did, only tentatively.

It was then I knew we would always be on our own.

I was a "sucker" for believing her "lies" as she tried to "ruin" this man's life.

I stuck by her, though, and while the ultimate solution wasn't perfect, I did get her away from him because I wasn't letting this go. And I know some people still look down on me for that to this day.
