I fear we are losing our ability to be outraged by Trump's incessant corruption - the latest being his threat to throw Jay Powell in jail unless he adopts Trump's interest rate policy.

Trump doesn't stop trying to be an autocrat. And we shouldn't stop being outraged by it.

Sometimes they just tell us they are weaponizing the criminal justice system to push their political agenda.
Sen. Kevin Cramer: "Maybe the point should be if you're the attorney for Jay Powell and you want to avoid an indictment, how about you go to Jeanine Pirro and say, 'I'll make a deal. I'll step down today if you drop the investigation today.' To me, that would be a win win for everybody."

Pretty willd how the DOJ just straight up stopped releasing the Epstein files even though they're legally obligated to do so.

Spending $200 billion on ICE is a terrible idea
I've covered federal law enforcement for two decades. Here are the things that worry me most.

Democrats cannot vote for a DHS budget that doesn’t restrain the growing lawlessness of this agency.
A witness shared this video with me showing an ICE officer shooting a driver in an SUV in south Minneapolis. DHS says the woman is dead.

Here's the ICE agent "defending himself" by shooting into the driver's side window of a car that's pulling *away* from him.

Put this photo on the front page of every newspaper in America.

There's a good reason that section 3 of the 14th amendment was written and no good reason that it was ignored in 2021. We'd be living in a very different world now if we had taken what the constitution says seriously
Samuel Alito flew two flags used by insurrectionists.

Clarence Thomas' wife plotted to overturn the 2020 election.

Both justices refused to recuse themselves from SCOTUS cases related to the January 6th plot.

It's a stain on our nation that this has effectively been forgotten.

Why is everyone yelling “release the epstein files” when we should already be yelling “impeach and remove!”?

Yelling about the Epstein files is an extra step and it can happen after he’s out of office.

NEW: Five years of social media history is only a fraction of what the US Government will shortly demand of overseas visitors.

The full requirements will end tourism in the United States.

Below is the full, mind-blowing list.

This email is also regarding a child who suffered abuse from a grown man.

For the life of me, I can't understand why it's not a bigger deal that the Republicans in Congress are abdicating their duties. Checks and balances don't exist when 1/2 of the elected officials refuse to hold this regime accountable. They are letting a clearly unwell, unfit president ruin America.
