Haha, imagine if US cable news channels required Pundits to actually be certified/have degrees/etc. about a certain subject, before they can speak about subject. Almost everyone currently on-air wouldn't qualify. Pundits right now need to be able to speak English and not stumble often when speaking.

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

• Criticism of the government
• Commentary about misinformation
• Suggestion the public is being manipulated
• Attacks against powerful people or institutions
Answer Under the new algorithm, posts by [redacted] could be considered too negative might include those that express strong dissent against established narratives or institutions, or those that portray a very bleak or cynical view of societal or political outcomes. Here are some examples based on posts found on X: • Posts that directly attack or insult powerful figures or institutions could be seen as too negative, especially if they suggest systemic manipulation or deceit. Once upon a time, long, long ago, Brooklyn wasn't Once upon a time, long, long ago, Brooklyn wasnit considered hip, or interesting, or even, for those who lived and dined and died in Manhattan, a socially appropriate place to go out to eat. In the late twentieth century, Williamsburg was nothing like the condo-filled, tourist-thronged, Epcot-ified theme park of brand-approved "coolness" it is today. The charming repurposed warehouses that now promise flagship retail opportunities were simply warehouses. People lived in Brooklyn, sure, but they were just people; restaurants fed them, but they were just restaurants. The cultured people, and the moneyed people, and the people who chronicled them, all stuck to their little island, maybe bravely venturing across the bridge every couple of years for a steak at Peter Luger, on a gruff block of the other Broadway, in the shadow of the faraway end of the Williamsburg Bridge.

SdJ: Since 1979, 142 designer noms for 112 games.
7 were for women.

Kenner: Since 2011, 64 designer noms for 42 games.
5 were for women.

No women were nominated in 2023 or 2024.

PLAY MORE GAMES WITH AND BY WOMEN
This is a chart with colored squares for each year that SdJ has made awards. The squares show how many total designers have been nominated each year, and how many of them are women. The takeaway message is: Since the Spiel des Jahres began in 1979, women have been nominated 7 times (out of 142 total designer nominations for 112 games). Since the Kennerspiel began in 2011, women have only been nominated for the Kennerspiel 5 times (out of 64 total designer nominations for 42 games). No women were nominated in 2023 or 2024.

I need to write the whole piece about this, but the thing to understand is that the NYT is now just Facebook. The platform dictates narrative to normies, is totally gamed by the right, and is still so ubiquitous as to be unavoidable even by those who see how broken it is. It's just Facebook.
