Going to take another hiatus from BlueSky, I think. Have been suffering with rather severe depression for most of the year, and while spitting out words here is a little easier than keeping up more personal contact with folk, it's still something I find I'm lacking the spoons for at the moment.
An early happy new year to BlueSky friends, and thank you for asking after me. For the record, yes, I finished Binary Domain (and by extension my 25 backlogged games for 2025 list) before the end of the year.

This was the only Playstation controller I ever used right up to getting a PS2. And I still think it's better than the Dualshock or Dual Analogue controllers for anything that doesn't use analogue.

Not sure I know enough ppl to fill 12 but sounds fun.
Generally don’t play PC games but most consoles and handhelds are viable as long as I can afford the games or play via other means.
E.g. Mega Drive, Dreamcast, Saturn, ps1-4, Xbox 360, wii, wii u, snes, gb-gba, ds/3ds, psp, vita.

Started up the Switch to see if something else was on sale, but remembered I hadn't bought this one yet. Game rules! <3 No Normal Mode clear yet (I really suck at these sorts of shooters), but have been up to the final boss, and pretty close. Will get it with another run or two~

I can only really tolerate Gen AI in my Street Fighter games. And even then, I'd really prefer to face off against a human-controlled Gen instead.

Last boss starts rambling about becoming a god and all that stuff, and I figure he's going to turn into some kind of monster angel last boss form. But instead his sprite just doubled in size. I'm losing my shit.

- First surgical consultation done
- Survived to the end of the year despite absolutely wretched depression over the last five months. Didn't quit my job or hurt myself

I think everything C and up I enjoyed to varying degrees, with a few slightly guiltier pleasures (Dirge of Cerberus) in D. A couple of lower ratings (Fatal Fury, Oni, ESWAT) are down to the specific versions I played.
