Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

Chicago really needs a Land Value Tax, it's clear that the Property Tax system is broken
The annual property tax bill on this parking garage went down $8,000

Lest there be any insinuation that Dems spared their own. It would be tough for Kathy Ruemmler—Obama’s WH Counsel from 2011 to mid-2014—to come off looking worse in these docs the committee Dems released. oversightdemocrats.house.gov/sites/evo-su...

Just another example of why most of this country doesn't have laws against under age marriage, far too many people think as long as a girl has matured physically she's mature enough to have s*x and be in relationships with much older men. It's gross and leads to girls being taken advantage of
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

As of Halloween, annual homicides in Chicago are the lowest since 2014 and the second lowest since at least 2001.

No amount of murder is acceptable, but a 50% drop from the pandemic spike is pretty remarkable. And there's still a chance that we'll hit a 25-year low by the end of December.

My latest is a love letter to Chicago. "I see you stumbling through the stubborn, awkward rhythm of showing up, again and again. I see you fighting alongside people who sometimes frustrate and confuse you, and defending neighbors you may have never met, because you know they’re all your people."
In Chicago, We Run Toward Danger Together
"Faced with unrelenting state violence, Chicagoans have refused to be cowed," says Mariame Kaba.

As the Handmaid’s, and other protesters here, continue to stand in silence, sheriff’s deputies just advanced toward the “free speech” zone.

Happening now in Broadview—outside Chicago:

A procession of Illinois Handmaid’s, with the Illinois Democratic Women of Cook County, walks in procession to the ICE detention facility.

“Even though we are silent, we are powerful,” an organizer told the group before starting.

I was already boycotting Spotify by having a subscription that I rarely used, canceling it, and never using it again
Spotify is crashing HARD because of the boycott. Their stock dropped 11% in value over the last month. Let’s keep this going!

Tell everyone you know to boycott Spotify. There are plenty of alternatives that don’t run ICE advertisements and screw over artists.

We made it easy at boycottspotify.com.

Finally found the ICE video that I fully could not watch and it was the man having the seizure while they pulled a child from his arms.

Countries are fake, borders are fake, nothing can justify this inhumanity. It’s all just for the abstract comfort of withering country clubbers and their pawns.

Canadian multimillionaire and Shark Tank guy Kevin O'Leary went on TV to say he's upset Zohran won't talk to him: "I and others who invest in real estate have tried to get a meeting to figure out what's rhetoric and what's policy. So far for me it's been crickets."

I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.
