This soup is really good. White beans, rosemary, thyme, broth, garlic, red pepper flakes, and pepper, olive oil. That's it. You can dress it up if you want (the picture has added veggies and I've made it w ham before) but it is really good as is and is simple and fast.

It has always been important to me that our library is this totally open, free, democratic resource for studying video game history, and we've got a good process. We acquire material, catalog it, digitize it, upload it, promote it, repeat. Our staff size is 2, our overhead low, and our impact huge.
Presenting our newest archival collection:

What better time to write about Sega's influential classic, World Series Baseball, than during the actual World Series? It's not just the gameplay and presentation here that drove the direction of baseball games, but also that it managed to unite both MLB and MLBPA licenses in one game.

On 9/15/1941, Dodgers and Reds played a game that Leo Durocher talked about for the rest of his life because it was a scoreless tie through 16 and Leo kept starter Johnny Allen in the whole way, telling him, "One more, just one more. We'll get you some runs, I swear." And it was just... a lie.

I know a lot of people talk about "Ken Griffey's swing", "John Olerud's swing" but for my money there is nothing more beautiful than Alejandro Kirk:
- 5'7 and built like a Welsh corgi
- basically drops halfway into a splits on each swing
- each swing is a Street Fighter "Shooooryuken" uppercut

I reviewed Bounty Star for @ign.com. It is the most personal review I've written in a long time (maybe ever) and I'm very proud of it. It would mean a lot to me if you read it.
Full disclosure: I talk about being suicidal for two years in the opening because I had to. This one hit me pretty hard.

I can only speak from my own experience here, but the best way to work on your writing is to write. A lot. You need a routine, you need a rhythm, it's how you develop your voice. You should also read, too, and I don't just mean books. Just keep all of that part of your brain active and well-fed.
They guy writing horseshit about how you're not really writing unless you're doing it "with the urgency of someone holding a gun in your mouth" is a marketing guy and his ridiculous thread is an act of personal marketing. If you're an aspiring writer do not listen to that sort of nonsense.
