Joyce is using her rhetorical powers for good.
I know, everybody should leave X, but I think an exception should be made solely for Joyce Carol Oates so she can keep wounding Musk's withered soul on his own site and he can't do a thing about it.

UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

Tim Kaine on backlash he's getting: "I got the first good night's sleep last night that I've gotten since Oct 1, b/c I wasn't worried about being able to look Capitol Police in the eye when I walked in, or what a furloughed fed worker would say to me at church, or what somebody would say about SNAP"

They just de-listed this (again) and dropped the price to $849,900. I don't think it's going to help.

There are at least six homes in my neighborhood that have been sitting on the market without takers.

I had to ask AG Raul Labrador's office once if they were planning to arrest the CEO of Planned Parenthood because that was a significant rumor going around when the abortion ban took effect in Idaho. Sometimes we have to ask the question even if we know it sounds dumb.
I understand the reaction. But this question is, in fact, good!

Obviously you can take issue with why the Times is covering an illegitimate smear campaign against a children's entertainer in the first place. But as long as the story is running, actually putting every claim to her is good!

But…those are state charges. They were never federally charged. Nor could they be even if we win in 2028 because the statute of limitations will have expired. But okay.

For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare
