Fellow people who feel things in very big ways, we are not supposed to be living like this, so give yourself grace on the days where the anxiety that you are a problem or in the way gets too loud.
Everyone and everything is on edge right now.
You are not too much.

Small acts of kindness ripple infinitely outwards, and the first act must be towards ourself. This is not selfish, it is essential. When we are calm within, we can be fully there for all things. May your day be peaceful, my friends.

Namaste 🙏

Restricting covid vaccines to the elderly & those with preconditions does damage in many ways.

It makes it harder for people to access a tool to keep healthy, while sending the (wrong) message that only the vulnerable need to worry about covid.

We are ALL vulnerable and we ALL deserve protection

You're not weak for feeling everything so deeply. That softness is part of what makes you strong. The fact that you can hurt and still be kind, that you can struggle and still try, that's a rare kind of strength. Don't let anyone make you feel small for having a big heart.

A reminder that every small bit of good you do - whether it be putting art into the world, helping a friend or stranger, donating to a good cause, or just listening to someone who needs to vent - offsets all the evil in the world just a little bit. And sometimes that's just what the world needs.

Hi I used to work at Starbucks customer service: if you call or email about this, they are absolutely tracking those numbers, and a sufficient amount of public pushback does make them rethink shit sometimes, so now would be an EXCELLENT time to let them know they’re being ableist shitheads

"The world tells us to seek success, power, and money; God tells us to seek humility, service, and love." -Pope Francis
As Catholics, we mourn this shepherd who lived the Gospel. He moved us from indifference-reminding us of our duty to one another, to our planet, and to social and economic justice.
