This is how it’s done! @abigailspanberger.com’s first act as Governor of Virginia is to repeal Glenn Youngkin’s executive order that mandated state and local law enforcement cooperate with ICE.
More of this please! #LetFreedomRing

“Did the ice agents check her pulse” seems like an important question whose answer is incredibly damning either way.
Holy shit.

Renee Good was alive when the bystander physician asked to check her pulse. She was alive when ICE refused to let him help. She was alive when they told him “I don’t care.”

As actual “jackbooted government thugs” wage war on an American city, the people who spent decades warning about government tyranny aren’t just silent. They’re stoked.

What Happened to the "Don't Tread On Me" Conservatives?
Guess what, they never cared about individual rights or had a problem with state violence. It just depends on who's on the receiving end.

Watch Virginia tomorrow. A lot of this will go through. Big day ahead.
Virginia's legislative session only started yesterday, and it was a very big day.

The House already passed four constitutional amendments on Day 1:
—protect abortion rights
—repeal the same-sex marriage ban
—allow mid-decade redistricting
—greatly expand voting rights restoration.

Next: Senate.

Oh wow. Trump got a hand-me-down Nobel Peace Prize! Did you know:

It would not be the first time a Nobel laureate has given his or her medal away: in 1943 Nobel Literature laureate Knut Hamsun gave his medal to Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels.

In the grand scheme this is not the most important thing that happened today.

But "protesters eagerly sift through the equipment and papers left behind by the regime's routed elite security forces" historically happens at a much later stage of regime collapse than this.

-- ICE illegally goes "door to door" in Minneapolis

If you cannot make “these people are leaving BABIES in CARS in WINTER and then returning them to their carekeepers with BRUISES” into popular sentiment as a politician, you’re either inept or you want this to keep happening.

The tragic death of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year old mother fatally shot by ICE, shows that ICE can’t be reformed and must be abolished.

I’ll be introducing the Abolish ICE Act as a step toward justice, accountability, and humanity in our immigration policy.

Time to melt ICE.

Unfortunately, conservatives believe that LGBT people are at least as bad as rapists. They don't recognize the importance of consent.
I've said it a lot lately: the problem with nonconsensual deepfake porn of adults isn't the "porn" part, it's the "nonconsensual" part. That HAS to be accounted for when regulating, otherwise you're just banning legal porn, which is (1) unconstitutional but (2) what the Heritage Foundation wants.

My question is whether Trump believes that happened. Maybe his top officials are trying to placate him without starting a major war.
It's kind of insane how the administration and its compliant media sold the casual news consumer the notion that regime change had happened in Caracas, and that the US was going to run the country. And we know this is very much not the case. This is called propaganda.

People being like, "But Venezuelans are happy about Maduro being gone!" have the memories of goldfish. IN 2003, the narrative was that Iraqis celebrated the U.S. invasion and capture of Saddam.

Whether they were happy or not, invading Iraq was still the wrong thing to do.
