Even though the Bush administration lied about WMD, it felt compelled to justify the war in Iraq and allow months of debate, signaling that it was law-bound. Trump 2.0 just decided to go to war without justification, authorization, or legal basis. Nuts

ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

The UK government is in crisis mode over Mandelson's appointment. In the USA, almost the entire cabinet had ties to Epstein, and there's far less pressure on Trump.

For sure there will be a growing expectation form donors, and perhaps co-authors, that projects move much faster. And they would. For most type of analysis that social scientists perform , Claude code already is up for the task.
