The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.
And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.

Are you one of Solana’s “low vibration humans”? If so, you’re not going to like him very much.
I actually do think it's intellectually interesting to describe my disagreements with socialism, which have a lot less to do with capitalism than people might think. The differences are in moral categories/epistemology. And different theories of history, etc. So I will enjoy writing the piece.
People simplify too much to make things fit into little boxes so they don't have to think too much.
You can be a democratic socialist, democratic libertarian, democratic conservative, etc., etc.
All of them have "democratic" adjectives meaning they believe in our Constitution first and foremost.

Getting a lot of people now asking, “How are you not a socialist?”—given my relative positive reaction to Mamdani’s victory in NY. Which I find irritating. So I’m going to have to set the record straight in a piece on Sunday. I am very much a liberal of the classical tradition. Stronger than ever.
