This kind of thing really backs my theory that GenAI’s killer use case is mostly just making fraud and grifting easier.

bad actors like wurman are why i think it is important to place the birthright clause in the full context of section 1 and section 1 in the context of both dred scott and the two decades of antislavery and abolitionist agitation and political thinking that proceeded it

Now that the "AI" companies have gone directly to all three major RAM manufacturers with piles of cash, they decided they don't care about price control anymore. They've let the entire RAM market flounder so they can instead make specialized HBM RAM for "AI" servers.

Irresponsible as you can get.

JD Vance deserves this
Trump on Tim Walz: "I think the man is a grossly incompetent man. I thought that from the day I watched JD destroy him in the debate. I was saying, 'Who's more incompetent, that man or my man?' I had a man and he had a man. They were both incompetent."

If Schumer votes AGAINST this but enough Ds vote FOR it that it passes, he needs to RESIGN immediately.

He will have shown himself to be absolutely ineffective as a minority leader. He has to go.

Literally resign tonight.

Like if there were in fact some orderly system, I too would say we should follow that! That would be great. There isn't! Total figment of the collective imagination.

And I've complained enough about it, but I am confident the vast vast majority of people think there's some kind of immigration system migrants are "skipping" and they ought to be doing their application and waiting so that the rules can be followed.

"men who clearly have hang-ups about their ability to perform a certain kind of blue collar masculinity" is a society-wide issue. There's a reason pickup truck sales have continued going up (to the degree the F-150 is now America's best selling vehicle) even as blue collar employment has gone down
i mean i don't think you can separate any of this discussion from the fact that so many of the participants are men who clearly have hang-ups about their inability to perform a certain kind of blue collar masculinity

I really believe generative AI is a cognitohazard to an entire column of humanity. I don't know, there's a something it fucking does to people that displaces their own entirely-capable cognition and independence, further they seemingly cannot perceive the deficits of. This is not a moral argument.

One of the most common arguments you hear from fans of generative ‘AI’ is that it’s not plagiarizing people’s work, it’s just learning like a human learns. So I’m going to break down why that’s just not true, and why it can never be true, with the existing systems. 1/

Either this governor is doing a good job making me like him or he's got a hell of a good PR campaign.

Honestly not sure the difference matters from a practical standpoint.
