The future is a shiny automatically-cleaned ready-to-use free to the public restroom in a park that can't be accessed bc the companion app was deleted by order of the president
By forcing huge numbers of American workers in government, academia, aid, and nonprofits into sudden unemployment, the Musk/Trump junta will almost certainly set off another stupid-ass recession.
And that’s just the immediate govt workers. All those employees no longer need software licenses, office supplies, lunch restaurants, etc and those businesses will start laying off their employees and so on

Watching the Milgram experiment in real time is DEFINITELY a trip, tho.

The last 10 years have been like walking through a history book going "Oh, so THAT'S how that happened. It really WAS that fucking mad and ridiculous. Amazing!"

Some basic fundamentals on the Rule of Law to help understand what's happening; why it's happening; and how it's happening (Actually, it's not just "happening." It's being done deliberately):

So, uh… I wrote about Taash being non-binary and how I feel we need to start establishing a difference between “harmful” and “not how I’d have done it”.

This was a hard story to write, tbh, and I remain anxious about how it’s gonna play.

(I had left the 't' out of naughty. I should know better than to pull out my heiroglyphic notes late at night :) It's Rocky Horus Picture Scroll all over again!)
Enjoy!

if you voted for trump, or excuse those who did, people in your orbit know you’re not safe. When the chips are down, you’ll sell out your loved ones and then retreat to your self-exonerating excuses. You already did it when the chips weren’t down. You’re unsafe, and dangerous times are coming. Bye.

I've come to love Bell, Book and Candle—which I came to very late, somehow—so much that it makes me a little sad that most directors seemed to have no idea how to frame Kim's charm and appeal. There should be a lot more classic Kim movies than, alas, there are.
Happy birthday, Kim Novak!
