On this Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor the trans people lost to violence in the U.S. this year.

Widespread poverty, homelessness, and discrimination makes trans people 4x more likely to experience violence than the average person.

We shouldn’t have to live in fear to be who we are.

Don’t want to lose sight of the fact that the No Kings rallies were planned specifically as counterprogramming to Trump’s parade. Imagine if you were planning a birthday party and bars nationwide announced they’d hold Fuck That Guy’s Birthday Night and like 15 times as many people showed up to those

On this Trans Day of Visibility, remember that the obsession with publicly hating human beings because they’re transgender suspiciously started shortly after gay marriage became legal and the world didn’t end. Don’t let anyone treat trans people as political punching bags and always have their backs

A Supreme Court Justice who rules that President Biden can’t forgive student loan debt without an act of Congress, and rules that President Trump and Not An Official Position Musk can cancel any Congressionally-enacted spending they personally dislike, that Justice clearly isn’t ruling based on law.

I no longer believe people are fundamentally good.
So many post-election takes are just like “this proves the importance of the shit I was already on about” so I’m curious - is there anything you’ve changed your mind about because of the election?

You know Bluesky has truly made it now because you can post a snide reply to a dumb skeet and end up getting indecipherable reply alerts from tedious side threads for the rest of the day.

This is how Steve Bannon ended his CPAC speech.

I guess it’s not the worst thing going on in the world but I see these stories or TikToks or what have you that claim to be a POV and are in no way showing the point of view they’re describing. Do better folks.

simple point i tried to convey in the post I just shared. if someone does a nazi salute at a political rally, i don't need to do a critical biography or do some deep dive on why they did it. if you want a research project, sure, whatever. but that doesn't matter. They did it. Thats all that matters.
