The operator of three historical movie theaters in Michigan has leased the shuttered Rogers Park theater, which was the city's oldest continually running movie theater when it closed in 2023.

Years ago when I was on SNAP (we called it Link) I would tutor my hairdresser's son in exchange for getting my hair done. I got my teeth cleaned at a student clinic for $10 IIRC and my nails done by a friend in the cosmetology program who always needed people to practice on. Community 101
It annoys me when people say “they’re on SNAP but their hair and nails are done and they’ve got tattoos”. It’s extremely normal to do your own hair and buy press on nails, and tattoos literally last forever. What do tattoos someone got 10 years ago have to do with them needing to eat now
