everything is hell. and the country is descending into fascism, but also at the end of 2025:

- trans people can still access state funded HRT in most states through the ACA or Medicaid despite Republicans doing their best to defund it and Democrats doing the least to stop them
I don't think I'll ever fully be able to emotionally accept the significance of our role in this, even though intellectually I'm well aware of it

but sometimes that's just how it goes, the people who do the most work rarely get the credit, nor do we really crave it
Stopped the GOP from banning Medicaid from covering trans healthcare

Moreover, ICE must be destroyed

Actually I'm not 100% anti-AI. I think that AI has a lot of promise in specialty applications used by specialists.

I think that large language models in general use by the public is not really a good thing for a variety of reasons.

We are closing in on $3,000 for our worker-run trans newsroom. Every donation helps get us closer to that and our final goal — and funds hard-hitting journalism.
Our winter fund drive is on. Consider a tax-deductible donation to support TNN (and get a gift).

Our reporting is in-depth, hard-hitting and unrepentantly radical.

Your donations go to keeping trans journalists out of poverty and informing our communities, which is now more important than ever.

Thread. This is a crucial thing for non-Christian Americans to understand. Most Christian Nationalists think it’s an act of kindness on their part to tell you that you will be going to hell if you don’t convert. It’s incomprehensible to most of them that they’re being bigots.
I'm going to tell my favorite story again about reflecting the certainty of beliefs back at people who don't expect it.

A friend was one of the few Jews on faculty at a North Dakota University. Every year, his colleague in religious studies would invite him to come to his religious studies class...

For me, it's "The Snowman," an animated short from my childhood. Beautifully drawn, heart-achingly scored (the piano from the title theme lives rent-free in my head).
