I think the answer to these questions boils down to one simple truth: every non-Donald Trump MAGA person of any significant stature knows they don't have nearly the same amount of juice. Why push out the king and be saddled with the burden of ruling, rather than propping him up to do your bidding?

I'm no expert, but I feel like you should probably reach out to the player you claim off waivers ahead of time to confirm he won't refuse to play for you, costing you a decent depth DB in the process
