An 18-year-old migrant worked her first shift cleaning the Bills Stadium. Then she was arrested.
Officials had revoked her work permit & status that same day without her knowledge.
“She has no criminal history anywhere in the world,” her attorney said.

i will also keep it a buck with you: i’m still a registered democrat bc of the closed primary system in new york. left candidates should exhaust their options here in this context, imo, as long as they are presenting people an actual political alternative through their campaign/incumbency
the democrats potentially coming out of this shutdown with literally nothing is another example of both capitalist parties using our lives as a playground. i’m empathetic to the desperate asks to call senators, but i also cannot stress enough to you all that it shouldn’t be like this
