there's usually a fucked up trauma reason why some girls are self-sacrificial and it's important for other girls to set boundaries for her and train her to do so for herself and reject help that unfairly hurts her, even if you need it very badly

Making a positive case for trans people should be the primary focus, yes, but for those who lack the imagination to empathise with other people, only stuff like "bathroom bans endanger cis women" will work, and that's sad. But since we need as much support as possible, why not try everything?

the amount of quid pro quos that happen especially in journalism on the Hill is absolutely nuts. reporters and pols have shared incentives to publish puff about politicians. Pols get good coverage, and reporters to exclusive background stories. just at the cost of their integrity, of course!
