i think the media should report on the extremist ties of the VP
“The infighting [over welcoming open Nazis into the GOP tent] is stupid,” writes Vice President Vance, which makes sense only if he thinks any Republicans objecting to said Nazi-welcoming should shut up.
doing a Straussian reading of this post, especially point 3, and it's fairly obvious that Vance is aligned with the Tucker Carlson-wing of the GOP and thinks further right groups should be part of the tent, but won't outright break with Trump's I/P policy while he's still VP

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.

feel like not nearly enough people are talking about this — apparently the democratic “yes” votes have effectively agreed to having the u.s. government write 6 republican senators $500k checks?
Look at this new outrage. To open govt, we're retroactively letting 8 Senators sue for $500K each over having had their J6 phone toll records looked at. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/10/u...
