Every year, people mock this tree. But I love it anyway.

It reminds us that if we stand together in tough times, we can overcome anything.

'how did that work out for trans?'

well, actually, most ppl under the age of 30 are unlikely to be transphobic. teaching kids about us worked well and reduced prejudice and bigotry toward us.

that's why @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social has reversed it and has reintroduced a new version of section 28.
This is the second story in three days The Times has carried arguing against misogyny lessons in schools, which it describes as "some weird feminist attack on male children".

Pretty inappropriate for Baroness Falkner to comment on the events she says occurred during a hearing which she did not sit through or a detailed and thorough assessment of the law which she appears not to understand .

How many different gay people do you need to hear telling you you're wrong about this before you actually listen? Because you can add my name to the list. I was one of the people who took you on for "Gay sex lessons in Scottish schools" in 1999. We won. We will take you on again. We will win.

The real victim at the centre of this absurd case is very clearly Dr Beth Upton

To witness the way in which she’s been dehumanised and vilified by Peggie and their (Sex Matters) legal team, the tribunal judge, the British media, and UK politicians has been beyond horrifying

The Express is furious about this because the moment you show those who repeat anti-immigration rhetoric the real human stories their narrative collapses.

The “immigrants” are people. Our friends, colleagues and family.

And it’s this nation of neighbours that is what makes Britain great.

Trans children denied participation in society because of the Supreme Court and EHRC. To attack us adults is one thing but to attack children is another. The UK needs to lose its GANHRI A accreditation.

Fascinating, enraging and illuminating interview of Sandy Peggie's lawyer (and chair of anti-trans campaign group Sex Matters) Naomi Cunningham by @mmgeissler.bsky.social on Scotcast. Geissler does a decent job of interrogating the stream of polite bigotry which drips from Cunningham's every word.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Truth!

Men do not need to put on a dress and go into a public restroom to abuse women and children.

They usually just go home. Or don a clerical collar. Or wear a badge.

Or they just do it in public, wearing pants, like Graham Linehan
It seems to me that if you want to abuse children, you don't become trans, you go work in a church and if you want to abuse women you become police.

This seems like the clearest thing in the world to me.
