any advice telling you:
"Don't be the squeaky wheel."
"Pay your dues." (union dues are ok)
"This is how it is."
- is priming you to accept bad behavior in an industry where it was an open secret that show creators were dating 16 year olds.

I hear a lot of stories about fan artists being contacted by creators. They make you feel special. They can make you feel good. And I love to mentor high school or college students, its so important to me -
but the lack of professional boundaries and accountability in these industries is dangerous
