This is ESPECALLY important if you are leading a team and you're in a professional environment (one would hope). Know that your personal opinion does not equal *job expectations* for a group of people.
When it comes to art and storytelling, I think it’s important not to mistake personal preference for absolute law. Oftentimes, folks conflate the two and loudly say a thing must be A instead of B simply because they don’t like the latter. They frame it as if it’s nonnegotiable.

It dismays me a lot when I see other people in my life spend a lot of time reflexively apologizing, overexplaining, or "predicting" criticism that may or may not ever come because I know too well that comes from being heavily criticized at developmentally impactful points in their life

I mean not that i put much into youtube takes on movies, and maybe its just my algo...but im surprised that the father/son themes in the new Frankenstein arnt being brought up more. GDT loves his father/son dynamics. I wonder if its the expectation of the book thats making the difference?

is it any surprise funko pop is going out of business? really? the same design for years and years with just more and more IP and this idea that all of its going to be bought up - just, like idk doesnt it just encapsule consumerism. make consumerism into a funkopop design.
