In Ball X Pit, I expected that I’d beat each boss eventually.

Ooh, just had my first proper taste of Sektori, and can confirm what the other arcade sickos have been saying: This is a juicy, refined take on a Geometry Wars'y shooter.
It has a Gradius'y powerup system, a recharging melee/bomb attack that immediately restocks if you do it through a score token.

Sektori is the most Finland coded game I've ever played. It feels like you got Isekei'd into a demoscene demo. This is the kind of game they'd invent in a YA novel in 1995 where dying in the game means they blow up the earth.

Last night I was playing Sektori on the Steam Deck. It was a great game.

I finally found it! I've gotten lots of compliments for Sektori, and I've been very happy about the critical reception. (Thank you!) But now, I found the one negative comment that rang true! And invalidated everything else! And that I'll be thinking for a week or two at least! 😆
