It's not a hot take but for my money the DCAU is as perfect an execution of a shared universe of superhero stories as you're ever gonna find. The way it slowly grows and expands over the years--all naturally and not part of the initial plan--and largely maintains absurd quality is untouchable.
Took me several years but ahhhh, finally complete (until they eventually do a Static Shock blu-ray, I suppose)
