if you can, try to find the Shout Factory release (red cover) and not the awful "Quentin Tarantino Presents" release (black cover)--they re-did all the sound so it's more "realistic," making what should be a loud, exciting kung-fu adventure a lot more boring

16) THE MAN FROM NOWHERE

a quiet, reclusive man reluctantly makes friends with the little girl next door... but when the kid gets caught in the sights of a vicious gang, it unleashes a side of him he never wanted to use again

15) FURIE

trying to get back at her for past sins, thugs kidnap a former gang member's daughter, and she pulls out all the stops to get her kid back and make them pay

the sequel is solid, but not nearly as compelling as the first for me

I think they intended this to be a jumpscare, but I'm pretty sure my reaction was just what the Doom Slayer would do
