I've been listening to this wonderful podcast from almost the beginning and this episode felt quite absurd to listen to. Spoiler: it features a game of mine you might now. And also @simonparkin.bsky.social, it does have online leaderboards, although perhaps not the most intuitive UX I guess 😊.

Making a video game is such an incredible act of hubris. You have to create the entire world for scratch. Every object, every rule. Unless you've worked in the field it's hard to wrap your head around how many other games are competing. What worked last time will not work this time. It's impossible.

Alright, Sektori v1.0.1 is now only waiting for final platform checks. Steam beta branch has the final 1.0.1, but will push it to main only after all platforms are ready. Steam trading cards are in review queue. Steam Deck verification is green for 1.0.1. Hoping I get to push the buttons this week.
