actual progressive policies are wildly popular, so focusing on "getting yelled at by progressive digital activists" is such weenie way to orient your thinking i cannot handle it like -- stop listening to these losers (literal losers! they lost!!! their plan was bad!!!)
At a conference in Washington about getting the Democratic Party back on a winning track, progressive digital activists were disparaged as an anchor weighing down Democrats.

Gov. Tim Walz is doubling down on trans rights — and criticizing members of his party who are retreating — at a time when the issue has become a political lightning rod nationally and back home in Minnesota.

The correct answer is "Drug Ballad" which is the closest that Eminem every got to genuine self-awareness (as opposed to lazy self-deprecation)
Today’s #ALL50RTS pre challenge challenge pick - still controversial after all these years - is one of the biggest stars of this century -

What’s the best EMINEM non-single? (album track, B Side, etc)

And yes this is @fireh9lly.bsky.social ’s pick!

These consultants are literally just calling minorities and gay people "bad groups" now. If you don't understand this comes down to "let's crank up the racism dial" I simply don't know what to tell you.
I watched large portions of this segment and at one point @mattyglesias.bsky.social threw up this slide, said Dems are "making bad press on this issue" and moved on.

But the polling is wildly on Dem's side on this one! Opponents of what the Trump admin is doing with him outnumber supporters 2-1!

My coworker was just talking about this. Her son’s inhaler is no longer covered under our insurance at work.
Cole Schmidtknecht, 22, had insurance but couldn’t afford to refill his asthma inhaler after the cost jumped from $70 to more than $500.

Five days after his pharmacy visit last year, Cole had a severe asthma attack and died. nbcnews.to/4mM9cGV

taking food from poor kids to pay billionaires with tax cuts
In the budget reconciliation bill, House Republicans are trying to cut SNAP by $295 billion. This would cut it in third in what would be by far the largest SNAP cut in history.

This would rip food assistance away from millions of people, including households with children as young as 7 years old.

It’s true that Biden’s team hid his decline from the public. But the public had long known that he wasn’t fit to serve another term as president.

my feed right now is just substack blog after substack blog after substack blog and half of them right now are specifically critiques of the guys from the big fascist signal chats article and those critiques are delivered on the platform that makes nazis money and it’s making me sad.
When I talk about how Substack was funded as part of a deliberate strategy to make a platform where they could mainstream their fascist ideas, this is the group I am talking about. The other suckers who put their newsletters on the platform are playing into this agenda.
