Gélineau advanced the term "narcolepsy" in 1880 while de la Tourette described his eponymous syndrome in 1885. "Autism" was coined by Bleuler in 1911, with full diagnoses soon after.

But what do I know? I'm not the Cabinet secretary in charge of the goddamn Department of Health and Human Services.
RFK JR: ADD, ADHD, Tourette syndrome, Narcolepsy, Autism.. All of these are injuries that I never heard of when I was a kid.

Why does the songbird sing?
Why does the autistic overshare?
Why does the Black woman write at all?

Because silence was never safety.
Because our truths were always seen as threats.
Because to write is to outlive what tried to bury us.

To name what was done. To hold memory.

Why Writing Is Power Even When You Don’t Have the Words for the Feelings (Alexithymia)
As a survivor and autistic woman with alexithymia, I learned that facts can speak when feelings can’t. This is recordkeeping. This is clarity. This is for anyone who was silenced or told to forget.

It’s just heartbreaking. Soul destroying. Depraved.

27 PAGES of children’s names, killed, who were not even 1 year old.
This report should break something in all of us.

15,613 children.

The first 27 pages of the report list children whose ages are 0.

26% were under the age of 5

Every time I wear this skirt, I am baffled by the tag.

Is it telling me it's not reflective material? Is it telling me not to run in traffic? Is it telling me not to hit someone with my car? Is it telling me there is no escape from the endless hell we live in?

Definitely feeling like I’m seeing more research on ME/CFS than ever before.

In 2024 there was an average of 56 papers published per month for “chronic fatigue syndrome” [based on PubMed].

In the two months of 2025 so far there have been 143, which is 71.5 per month.

Pandemics do not begin with official announcements.

They start with quiet deletions, missing reports, and assurances that there is "no cause for concern."

Pay attention.

For those unaware, in 1933, the first major Nazi book burning was of the first 30 years of research into trans and queer people, far before the concentration camps.

Now, Trump has digitally burned the government's research on the same.

SHARE WIDELY.
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

With mass deportations starting today across the country, it is vitally important - for both citizens and non-citizens - to know your rights.

You have the right to remain silent. Assert it. You have the right to a lawyer. Ask for one.

I have given blood many times. I have always been told by the Red Cross and Stanford Blood Bank that my blood type is O+.

My mother is O+, and she is a blood donor superhuman, having given gallons in total over the course of her life.

Lubriderm is too liquidy. You need to apply something more greasy that is white petrolatum based (Vaseline). Also I would also apply a high potency topical steroid and mupirocin to any open wounds. At night, apply Vaseline and put on white cotton gloves.
