Oddly enough, this is a real movement: In response to X/Twitter announcing they are using user content to train AI, Korean users began describing "destroying Elon Musk's testicles with a spinning kick" as a healthy and wholesome traditional activity in order to contaminate the AI training data.
Finally a Political Movement I can actually get behind:

It’s true that medieval people were very ignorant compared to us today. For instance, they would panic over mysterious apparitions in the sky, or believe that a strongman leader was blessed by God.

This does show that after prolonged pain and suffering, voters, who are generally morons, are capable of learning.
"54% of Britons who voted leave, including 59% of voters in “red wall seats”, said in exchange for single market access they would now accept full free movement for EU and UK citizens to travel, live and work across borders." https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/dec/12/majority-of-brexit-voter…
Majority of Brexit voters ‘would accept free movement’ to access single market
Europe-wide polling finds UK and EU leaders now out of step with public opinion and pursue ‘ambitious reset’

NEW: X has become a hotbed of neo-Nazi content under Elon Musk. We identified the operators of four anonymous accounts that share racist, antisemitic, and neo-Nazi content. Three live in Texas. Musk has replied to two of them. One works for the Navy.

I can't decide what's worse: Musk making these very public threats not only to fire government employees but have people arrested, or that fact that he's implying he's some kind of co-president
Last week, Elon Musk—rearing up to fire federal employees he deems wasteful en masse as the head of the Trump administration’s planned DOGE commission—put a number of workaday government employees on blast to millions of users on X.

Elon Musk thinks HE won the election and gets to be the autocrat. Fascist and delusional to the core.

These people's entire worldview is that it's fun to be cruel to anyone outside their very small circle of moral concern.
Ingraham: Trump is fun. He is a fun factor in politics and my gosh, we need to have more fun in this country. Too much negativity all the time.

People are often surprised when I tell them this: both Twitter and Facebook/insta/threads are now specifically engineered to downgrade, hide, suppress real journalism. If this platform is different, that's a huge change
Traffic from Bluesky to @bostonglobe.com is already 3x that of Threads, and we are seeing 4.5x the conversions to paying digital subscribers.

"He asked why British far-right figurehead Tommy Robinson had been imprisoned at all. Musk also approvingly shared Robinson’s documentary to his more than 200 million followers"

Musk's interventions should be taken seriously. The ideological leanings of oligarchical media barons can affect us all.
