Look, I’m not saying that this photograph of young Egyptian geese is going to make all your problems go away, but it’s not going to do any harm, is it?

Fractal patterns occur in many places in nature:plants & tree branches, shells, feathers, river deltas...
Looking at fractals puts our brains into a relaxed state-we recover from stress 60% more quickly (I teach about this in my classes)
Pause to take in the details of my photo-it'll help your brain

It's very trendy for the woke left to mock the police these days, but this is the kind of thing that you and I might miss.

Sad to hear about Boris Johnson. Nothing's happened to him, I just don't like hearing about him.

Just seen a headline which asks "Thatcher was born 100 years ago and her reign feels a lifetime away. Why is her effect on the country still so huge?"

It's because she was a massive bastard. Hope that helps x

Sound on for The Railway Children (1970). It looks like a folk horror film, so I added scary noises to the trailer. Listen to me and @eleanormorton.bsky.social for more: linktr.ee/readthat

For much of this year depression has burgled almost everything about me. I’ve made this photo to show that I’m still here, even if I’m in tiny bits: old marbles, Roman beads, a tiny 17th C fox, 1930s toy flowers, a medieval key. Making this helped my brain, looking at the details might help yours…
