So while people are thinking about electorates, bear in mind we're talking about 1 MP per 69,875 people.

In Ireland the constitution requires 1 per 20,000-30,000 people.

Moving to Irish levels of representation would give NZ 178-267 MPs, which help with having enough to do the work.

NZ doesn't have enough new electricity generation in the pipeline because the Luxon Govt fast tracked seabed mining in exactly the place where huge new offshore wind turbines were planned. And now they had to cancel the project and its gigawatts of cheap electricity.

I proposed this idea at work once of "a new way of doing things", but it went belly up, yet when it came to reporting to my employer about what went wrong and why, I said "Nope."

Wait. That's never happened.

Yet the PM, who is *ACCOUNTABLE TO YOU AND I*, thinks HE can get away with this?!

We noticed this, didn’t know it was a thing. Such a brilliant policy.
Queensland's 50c public transport fares hit six-month mark, with patronage up nearly 20%

Train travel up 18.6%
Bus travel up 15.8%
Tram travel up 27.5%
Ferry travel up 42.8%

And it's bipartisan policy that's here to stay. This is a very good news story.
