Not long after raising thousands to get a modern DCP system the theatre was nearly destroyed in the Kaikōura quake. After a $3.6m rebuild it's now a modern two-screen arts and movie hub, still community-owned. Anyway I just wrote a Wikipedia article about it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mayfair...

That’s my photo on the front page of Wikipedia right now! I couldn’t find a decent (c) free colour pic of the pudding after I wrote a page for it, so I bought canned chestnuts ($15!) and made the damn thing. It does taste glorious though…

The Wikipedia students at Auckland Museum are now at the end of the 10-week internship, picking up skills and knowledge of the Wikimedia Movement to accompany them in their studies and careers.
