Good question! The license details come from Flickr, and give the image a date of 2006. Hopefully the WANZ community can weigh in on how copyright works for scans of documents?

The declaration is displayed at the National Library of New Zealand, as part of their permanent He Tohu exhibition, alongside the Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the 1893 Women's Suffrage Petition.
