Just your regular reminder of the profound conflict of interest at the heart of the Luxon fast track: Chris Bishop is both chair of the National Party Campaign Committee, dependent on business donations, and as Infrastructure Minister decides which businesses get access to the fast track.

Australia has so much solar power that they're offering free electricity during peak hours because solar power is so cheap.

Here in Ontario, Doug Ford is doubling down on nuclear, which is the most expensive form of electricity. And subsidizing it with our tax dollars.

- Decoupling the ETS from Paris
- Shifting ETS resets to every 2 years
- Delaying the public sector target by 25 years

3 November 2025 saw two new NZ electricity records set: highest daily utility solar power generation (1.6 GWh, enough to make 50 million cups of tea), and the last day of an unprecedented 25-day run of zero coal power.
