Because very few people on the right are capable of creative thought, they plagiarise, regurgitate and twist other people's information.

This is why they're now pumping trillions into AI, that does exactly the same thing on an industrial scale

Battery prices plunge 60 pct in two years, changing face of grid and the nature of contracts
Battery storage major says costs have fallen 60 pct in two years, helping redefine the grid and customer needs, and along with solar is cheapest and easiest to build.

Watts is an idiot of the first order and a symptom of anti intellectualism rife in National
But when both the Taxpayers Union AND Greens absolutely diss the Government on the LNG Corruption Show, you know National fucked up mega

National's LNG blunders are a warning ahead of election campaign
Ministers seemed unprepared for criticism over LNG and then unable to salvage the narrative once the severity of the situation became apparent.

Despite what they claim, they'll never have anything in place before the election. Their track record on delivery isn't that great so to magically think this will be on stream in the next year is pie in the sky stuff IMHO

This is exactly the issue in America, the whole country is in denial about the 'American Dream' being anything other than what it's made out to be

This current administration is just exposing it to the sunlight in a brazenly overt way, but it's always been like this

A slave to Capitalism

The Kāpiti Expressway was EXACTLY the same, in less than a year it was pretty much entirely resurfaced
Entire Kapiti expressway to be resurfaced after only seven m
Nearly all of Kapiti's new expressway will be resealed after leaks were discovered in the road...

Righto. I've read the papers released by MBIE on the LNG analysis. This will be a longish thread on my thoughts, which I'll add to progressively. Docs are here. 🧵 1/-

Or spend the money on getting businesses and households off gas

Exactly what GIDI was meant to do🤦🏻‍♂️

I've got solar panels, battery and EVs, so I'm doing my bit, but am also stuck with gas for domestic hot water and central heating

Cost to replace with heat pump system is $30,000 👀

Government would be better spending the $1bn getting businesses and households off gas
