The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)
They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

If I was running a major news org, I’d keep the focus on the Musk story, which is a real thing. Trump talking about x,y,z isn’t—unless he backs it up with action. Cover what he says, sure, but don’t let him dictate the news agenda.
