I was a little heavy-handed with the crushed pepper in the soup, but still delicious!
In other news, I don't know if cats are supposed to have marshmallows, but Charlie said he can, so, I'm now sharing marshmallows with a cat.

Ya know what's super fun? Shoveling ice and snow and cleaning off an iced over car in sub 20/-6 degree temperatures with 15 mph winds when you're still recovering from the flu.

Lots of people are asking me why DOJ is leveraging the ICE deployment in Minnesota to obtain unreacted copies of the state's sensitive voter file data. I recently explained why this is the biggest legal story and may be the biggest political story of the year.

Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

Regardless of if this is correct, Gov. Walz just said that one video they've seen shows the man who was murdered was trying to help a woman ICE thugs had knocked over.
Alex Pretti, the man killed by federal agents today in Minneapolis, appears to have been a registered nurse, an athlete, a son and a brother, with ties to Colorado and Wisconsin.

As we're all getting ready for this storm (except you lucky people in the West), let's share some things we're doing to prepare that aren't normally on the list in case we lose power, and help each other out a bit. For example, I'm:
* Doing laundry

Went to the doctor for a regular check-up this morning. When the nurse checked my vitals, I had a low fever.
