A Christmas Miracle!
I wonder how much of this is based on so many Americans being statistically illiterate such that they don’t understand how to reconcile both that the average American community (by a lot) is 10,000 or fewer residents but that the average American (by a lot) lives in a city.
This kind of stuff also imo overstates how much of America is actually "small towns"
I don’t always agree with of the broader political takes from some “abundance”-coded pundits but man the abundance critics are just pure nonsense merchants

What is particularly frightening about the brand of Christian nationalism we have with Trump at its helm is he is so uncommitted to anything resembling coherent (even v bad) Christianity that you can’t even figure out what heresies to align yourself with.

Apropos of nothing, using the cross as a symbol of Christmas is weird? Like, the cross is a Good Friday/Easter thing. You already have the star of Bethlehem and all of the other seasonal stuff.

A church whose exterior is in fact United Methodist (you can tell because the interior scenes show a church whose doors can’t be the exterior)
