There definitely are. I saw a quote of someone saying there's a difference between a 5yo girl and a 15yo girl, and while yes, there is, they are both still children, still made in God's image, and it's still illegal to abuse them.

It's an actual doctrine/expectation in the Episcopal Church that you create at least a funeral plan and keep it on file with your local church, and "getting your affairs in order" is very, very strongly encouraged in the canons.
I really appreciate this, even if I haven't done it yet...

I taught for 5 months at a Chromebook school. Worst 5 months in the classroom ever. 90% of my time when the kids were supposed to be working indepentantly was spent closing their games tabs remotely, only to have them open them again a few seconds later. It was awful and the kids were SO far behind!

The converts are almost always the fundamentalists, not just in Catholicism, but in Protestant Evangelicalism as well.

Letting pets go when it's too much for them to keep going is one of the most heartwrenching things we do. Thank you for loving him so well for so long, and for this last act of love for him. Thank you for sharing him with us. Praying peace and comfort over all of you tonight. 💜
