Nigel Farage won't apologise for his history of racism because "if he apologised, he would be turning to his own support base and saying, ‘You’re all guilty too,'" a Reform source tells the Times.

So essentially he was a racist and he believes his supporters are racists too

Rather than apologising for his antisemitism, Farage demands the BBC apologise for the antisemitism of Alf Garnett, a fictional character created to satirise antisemitism, who was portrayed by a Jewish man.

Here’s a quote from the brilliantly witty play “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead” (a retelling of Hamlet told from the perspective of two minor characters having an existential dilemma).

RIP to Sir Tom Stoppard.

BASH: We have seen these attacks from the president at other people. It's not new. And I haven't heard you speak out about it until it was directed at you.

If median home prices had equally tracked median household income since 1980, a $400,000 home today would actually be selling for less than $100,000.00

That's what we need to have happen. Lowering prices has the same effect as increasing wages, but without the inflationary harm.

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.
