Outside of the one plopped down at Howard Beach for the A train, there aren't any OMNY machines specifically for the AirTrain yet. There is no communicated plan for any of this.

So while PANYNJ and MTA can’t figure out how to get 10-trip and monthly unlimited passes for JFK AirTrain via OMNY, PA figured out passes for PATH’s own TAPP card that I just got in the mail.
So who is actually to blame for the AirTrain fare payment lapse?

I guess that’s better but it’s still quite hostile. It implies, likely falsely, that nothing at all is happening. Not even behind the scenes. We know that not to be the case. It’s just that no corrective action/plan has been announced to date.

I have no issues with the tracker at all. The tracker is good, great even! It helps expose what the past admin stopped.
It's the "Mamdani has not done anything" text in the "Status" column that really gets me. It's needlessly hostile, or at least that's how it comes off to me.

How is PANYNJ so bad at communicating the basics of public transit disruptions?
There's a systemwide JFK AirTrain outage right now but unless you are already subscribe to Port Authority alerts you'd never know. The JFK website has the most unhelpful of alert with no details, and nothing on socials.

Thanks! Yea it was easier because there was no lag in waiting for the SMS bot to reply before I could add the details. However, I missed the interaction and the summary. I like the bot's summary that the web version doesn't provide. It feels more rewarding that way.

I think for me, personally, the combination of the counter and the previous "Mamdani has done nothing" text in the tracker was a tipping point. It was a combination of multiple negative tones that felt hostile rather than productive. But the chart has already been edited so that's a positive step.

That's fine, and of course you should! Nobody is saying you shouldn't. But clearly I'm not that off base here if what text/framing I raised exception to has already been edited.
I'm not a huge fan of this graphic, and I know others aren't either. It's just coming from such a place of negativity.

It says that now because it was changed since I brought it up. When I read it "incomplete" said "Mamdani has done nothing yet"

No it's not? "Mamdani has not done anything" sets the reader up to conclude that nothing is happening behind the scenes, or that the project is even mentioned. Because several of them have been mentioned as on the table to resume.

But this wasn't a headline, or even a subhead. It was a piece of data in a chart below the scroll. The reader is already there if they're seeing that.
